Epiphany better than Firefox?

I, like so mamy other people stuck with machines now deemed ancient, used to crib a lot about my browser taking up most of my computer's memory especially with a web application like gmail running. Which made me take Epiphany seriously, which at first sight did not seem to be any match for Firefox.
But I found it true to its word. An almost bare bones browser and very easy to use, it just needs the the extra extensions package installed to get the work done for most users at a very low memory cost.
A few more features will make it a good competitor for other browsers.
