So I thought I would set up my old canon ip4000 pixma. Didn't take much setting up as it happens. I just plugged the usb in and went through the "add printer" in the control center. I printed out some A4 documents, which came out very well! Linux has come a long way where printing is concerned.

Daft name for a Linux installation, but I must say I'm quite impressed with it, especially the amount of programs that come with a standard installation. It is based on Ubuntu (what isn't these days?), except it has the OpenBox Window manager. As usual with it being Ubuntu under the hood, it runs as a live cd, but with it being OpenBox it's very fast.
