- It's important to check if the printer is 'enabled' from the Admin settings
- It's important to set the location of the printer to the hostname i.e. if your computer hostname is 'MYCOMP', the location of the printer should say 'MYCOMP' -- at least in two distros i've seen it to be left blank (and as a result printer was not working -- it was showing up on the menus -- but not doing anything)...
