MeX Linux is based on Linux Mint. (I.e. Linux Mint 16 - codenamed "Petra", released 20131130 and on Ubuntu 13.10 - codenamed "Saucy Salamander", released 20131017).

1. MeX Linux is once again based on Linux Mint. (I.e. Linux Mint 16 - codenamed "Petra", released 20131130 and on Ubuntu 13.10 - codenamed "Saucy Salamander", released 20131017).
2. The MeX ISO is now a ISO-hybrid, which means that it can very easily be transferred (copied) to a USB pen drive. You can then even run MeX from the USB stick and save all your system changes on the stick. I.e. you will enjoy persistence! I've found two scripts which...
