[Update: June 20, 2013 - corrected name in lqToPixel.]

Progress report.

We found a bug in the incremental backup program uploaded recently.

[Update June 24, 2013, see Gazi's bug fix below and here's a version that uses C/C++ to do it from a compiled executable.
http://rainbowsally.org/rainbowsally...staller.tar.gz. It has an uninstaller if you can find where it installs. :-) ~/bin/src/LQ_Projects Original post...

lqMiniTerm (version 2)

Posted 06-15-2013 at 09:07 AM by rainbowsally
Updated 08-06-2014 at 07:18 AM by rainbowsally

Today's Feature
  • A new version of the lqMiniTerm (introduced in the horrible sockets experiments). :-) (If you missed those, count yourself lucky. ;-) )

Unfortunately, for the GUI stuff the file sets are getting rather large. It's only 12K as a gzipped tar but uncompressed it's big enough to make the blog choke, even as an sfxz compressed self extractor.

But it's worth taking a peek at this because there are a few features in it that work (that's important... that it works,...

QT giac (qtgiac) and new lib lq/mc2 v. 3.03

Posted 06-05-2012 at 07:58 AM by rainbowsally
Updated 08-06-2014 at 10:06 AM by rainbowsally

[If you have had trouble compiling qtgiac, this might help.]

http://rainbowsally.org/rainbowsally...giac-rs.tar.gz (about 2 megs)

This qtgiac build currently works with the following version of libLQ/mc2 (and also with later builds of the mc2 v. 2x). If you need this to work for sure AND you want to mess with the makefiles, get this version of the libLQ/mc2 as well to make the job a little easier.

QT4 GUI Programming: Center Window

Posted 05-28-2012 at 12:50 AM by rainbowsally

Today's Features:
  • Center a non-dialog window in qt4.

If you have mc2, 'mc2 -fetch qt4' for the Makefile, otherwise, do whatever you do to get this rolling.

Here are the files for this demo/test.

file: src/main.cpp
Code:
// generic C++ source template created by new.main

#include <stdio.h>  // printf(), FILE*, etc.
#include <malloc.h> // malloc(), free()
#include <string.h> // strcpy(), memcpy(), etc.

libLQ-qt-mc2 with qt4 support

Posted 05-27-2012 at 09:22 PM by rainbowsally
Updated 08-06-2014 at 07:06 AM by rainbowsally (new version)

[See note at the bottom IF you have a problem such as:
Code:
  libLQ-qt.so: undefined reference to `obj_copy_op(char**, char*, char*)'
  libLQ-qt.so: undefined reference to `obj_delete_op(char*, char*)'
which you probably won't.
]

This is libLQ with qt support and mc2 (the makefile creator, second generation).
