find /path/to/dir -name *.<suffix> -exec /path/to/bin \{\} \; <- use find to run a command over several directories
find /path/ -exec md5sum {} \; | sort -dbi | uniq -w 33 -D | wc -l <- Useful for finding duplicate files in a tree. remove -D from uniq to get a listing of all duplicates instead of just the dups
