    one thing about do it all at once it is better if you go;
    make
    make modules_install
    make install
    the way i said doesnt work...

    and my fix is to go into yast and then system then bootloader and click the option saying the highest number eg: 2.6.29.4 and then click make default if it all works fine you can delete the options that have old kernel in

    ok on 11.0 i just finished doing mine wifi works a treat now the only things are 1) the opensuse boot splash goes 2)screen resoloution is borked as in all words are tiny but that is fine 3) you have to keep on selecting the option with the latest kernel cos grub is set to default to the old one but im working on a fix
