    Rhce exam

    there are no model questions available although you can get help using google to find some help regarding exam tips.

    vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scrpits/ifcfg-eth0
    DEVICE=eth0
    HWADDR=yourmacaddress
    BOOTPROTO=static
    IPADDR=172.27.1.127
    NETMASK=255.255.254.0
    GATEWAY=172.27.1.1
    ONBOOT=yes

    save & exit

    vi /etc/resolv.conf
    nameserver 202.138.96.2

    regarding pref DNS try to add DNS=172.27.1.1 in ifcfg-eth0 but not sure,
    then
    service network restart.
