I'm sick of green and global warming and carbon propaganda
Oh, and if you want to know the reason for all the global warming and green and carbon propaganda, it's laid out rather nicely in the Alex Jones film Obama Deception:

It's near the end, but the whole thing is worth watching, especially if you want to understand why.Posted 04-17-2009 at 01:16 PM by H_TeXMeX_H

Energy Secretary Chu Endorses "Clean Coal"
http://hardware.slashdot.org/article.../04/15/1859241
"clean coal", yes ... I've lived near a coal power plant at one point, and I know exactly how clean coal is. There were lots of dead birds all over and soot on all plant leaves. Now that's what I call "clean". Also, by near I mean it was located about 10 to 20 miles from where I was.Posted 04-15-2009 at 05:24 PM by H_TeXMeX_H

I'm sick of green and global warming and carbon propaganda
I will agree there are more important issues than global warming, but I think it does need to be put on the back burner (so to speak). Keep up the articles with the attitude.Posted 03-28-2009 at 04:41 PM by Larry Webb

More from /.

http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/29/ma...1&ref=magazineQuote:"In The Civil Heretic, the NYT Magazine takes a look at how world-renowned scientist Freeman Dyson wound up opposing those who care most about global warming. Since coming out of the closet on global warming, Dyson has found himself described as 'a pompous twit,' 'a blowhard,' and 'a mad scientist.' He argues that climate change has become an obsession for 'a worldwide secular religion' known as environmentalism. Dyson has been particularly dismissive of Al Gore, calling him climate change's chief propagandist and accusing him of relying too heavily on computer-generated climate models and promoting 'lousy science' that's distracting attention from more serious and more immediate dangers to the planet."
Good for him, I applaud his efforts. Stand up against this nonsense and propaganda.Posted 03-28-2009 at 01:57 PM by H_TeXMeX_H

I'm sick of green and global warming and carbon propaganda
There may be some truth to your California article.
Dark paints are known to absorb heat from the sun. As a result the airconditioner compressor works longer with higher head pressure which requires more horsepower. This does seem small as in emptying the ocean with a teaspoon. But if you look at it as 5 million teaspoons it might change the output.Posted 03-27-2009 at 07:43 AM by Larry Webb

Just look at how far this BS has gone:

I sense the general IQ is dropping fast.Quote:
California To Reduce Carbon Emissions By Banning Black Cars
Legislation may soon restrict the paint color options for California residents looking for a new car. Black and all dark hues are currently on the banned list. The California Air Resources Board says that the climate control systems of dark colored cars need to work harder than their lighter siblings - especially after sitting in the sun for a few hours.Posted 03-26-2009 at 04:54 PM by H_TeXMeX_H

Xbox 360, the reason I will never buy another Xbox * ever again
Also see this recent /. article:
Increase In Xbox 360 E74 Problems
"According to data collected by Joystiq as well as Google Trends, there's been a steady rise in reports and discussion of the so-called E74 error on Xbox 360 consoles since August of last year. The E74 error is related to video problems caused by either a faulty AV connector or, more often, a loosened ANA/HANA scaling chip. This is not the first time the Xbox 360 has experienced technical issues; in recent years many people have complained about scratched discs and over-heating consoles — the 'red ring of death.'"

Moral: Don't buy an Xbox 360, it is a POS.
Unfortunately I can't say anything good about the PS3 with all its DRM and reports of the drive burning out awfully quick.Posted 03-23-2009 at 01:30 PM by H_TeXMeX_H
