I'm trying to boot an usb on a MacBook Air, and it's imposible to do it.
I'm tested at least 4 versions of AyraLinux, and allways it's the same.
Usually I tested many distros of DistroWatch, and succesfully. But with AyraLinux I can't boot.

Hello and welcome to the forum

To start out with, did you download the distribution from DistroWatch as well? Also, did you verify the MD5 checksum for the versions you downloaded? If not, please obtain these codes and verify your .iso's with the instructions here. You can see a video of this method here.

I'm test the different distros, and only run the "AryaLinux 2016.04 Builder DVD (64-bit)". The others: "Ayralinux loading. Please wait..."
But on a VM it's boot normally. It's posible to build an OS on a VM?

You are a valuable contributor here, but it is after all a Linux forum. Please do not impose your religious beliefs on others. There are plenty religious and open forums where you can do that, but this is a technical forum.

If you don't like seeing different terms/phrases/etc., then perhaps public forums (where members are global, and ALL have differing standards), aren't the best place for you. The members of this forum DO NOT have to cater to what you find offensive, and it is NOT YOUR PLACE to 'correct' them, period. If you need further clarification, please contact a moderator/Jeremy. Find something offensive? Report it.

Again, ardvark71, you are missing the point; you are intentionally going out of your way to make a new user feel uncomfortable, based on your PERSONAL VIEWS. To be clear...no one else cares about your views, nor do we want to hear them. If you think something is offensive, you have EXACTLY ONE OPTION: REPORT IT. Same as everyone else.

Hi chuseto and welcome to LQ. I've reiterated your last question here so that someone who understands how to help you, can offer some help. For my part, I've used VM's on a limited basis and I typically do a full install. I also have numerous machines at my disposal therefore when I install, it is a full install because the machine was a "don't care" to start with, and then I go from there and hopefully it turns into a capable machine that I enjoy.

Regarding the side discussions going back and forth I feel the need to clarify that per discussion with Jeremy, the owner of the LQ forums. Religious and Political content are not acceptable within technical threads. While personal signatures may contain this type of content, it is not to be within the technical thread.

Complaints have been received about off-topic posts and arguments. Personal messages have been sent to ask one or more persons to edit their posts to remove the content.

Worst case is we have to directly involve Jeremy. I don't recommend you people let it proceed to that point.

We should respect the OP's technical issue and send PM's to address any out of context issues maybe?

It is AryaLinux, not Ayralinux. It does not seem to be suitable for beginners. Anyhow, there may be a BIOS/firmware bug that stops kernel from loading or init system finishing its job. Usually passing "cheat codes" to the kernel can make kernel loading possible, as for init system there may be a way to start services interactively. Have not tried this flavor of Linux myself, thus cannot go into details.
