wicd asks for a root pass and X throws an error.

Hey fellas.
I just installed arch64bit
I configured kde 4.3 to start wicd each time kde starts. when the program starts, it asks for the root password. how can i bypass that?
and after i type in the password, X says that it can't connect to wicd's d-bus.
sorry for the lame questions I'm not an arch expert.

thanks!
