Question What if I delete some file of a program? How to find out?

Hello guys!

Let's say I accidently deleted a file of a program as root. How to find out that some Arch package lacks a file? "testdb" checks for dependencies that lack but not files...

Well, for startes, the thing may not start up when (double)-clicked on. When that happens, I open a console and start te program from there. Just type in the name and let it rip. Chances are that i'll splat messages in the like of "this-or-that.so not found" Then, I'd enter that in the Arch look up, or, better yet, try to let pacman re-install it. It's very plausable pacman will put the missing piece back, while upgrading the rest of the package.

Of course, the word "accident" should not even exist in the dictionary of the Root

Luck
