Victory!
Finally (after two days of muddling through it) got both Arch and X installed on my machine. Installed the fluxbox window manager. I have a problem though, my fonts inside of windows are tiny. Any help you can give me would be appreciated, as Im getting a migraine.
:) EDIT: Just for S&G's, I decided to load up gnome. My fonts are much bigger in gnome, but my display in general is very fuzzy. I have an ATI AiW 9600 vid-card and a Samsung SyncMaster 760vTFT monitor. Thanks again, ladies and gents. |
If you are using KDE in Arch you can use the Control Center to adjust your fonts.
Follow these steps: 1. Click the K menu (nav bar on the bottom) 2.Click on Control Center ( a new screen will open) 3.Look for Appearance & Themes (expand by clicking on the + sign) 4. Click on Fonts ( a new side panel will open) 5. Choose the fonts and sizes that you like for your KDE environment Hope this helps. Rick |

Thumbs up!!
Arch kicks the crap outta almost every other distro I've tried. Gotta love it :) |
