ssh/scp problems

I am new to arch and am having a problem scping and sshing into the machines running arch.

When i try to log in, I get a connection refused error.

When i tried to use /usr/sbin/sshd, I got key missing errors.

I have edited the /etc/hosts.deny file.
What am I missing here?

Thanks,
-mark

man sshd, man ssh-keygen. sshd says it wants some key file - it should be passed as parameter for ssh-keygen. And specify everything ssh-keygen wants to be happy.

Have you fixed it?

I setup SSH, all i did was install it, edit /etc/hosts.deny, start service /etc/rc.d/sshd start and connect, then it creates the keys on first connection.

Yes. I needed to edit the hosts.allow to sshd:ALL (or whatever)
