Question OpenJDK does tick/tock - why does it do that? Pls hlp

Yep, that's openjdk for ya. I play Runesape and every six seconds the sound goes off, then after annother six seconds it's back, to go away after ... six seconds.

Anyone heared this behaviour too? How dood ya solved that?

Please help...if possible.

Ising Arch Linux, Firefox Open JDK that came with the bundle...
