no keys, no mouse...

Hi gang!

So, here's a fresh install. Since my last post on this, some parameters have changed.

- Durom 1200+
- 512Mb
- 80 Gb - to be expanded with 250Gb
- nVidia 6200 card

Tried an install, works nicely, until I try to log in graphically. Tried GDM and Slim, both have the same effect: no keynoard or mouse active. Hooked up a USB keyboard: no change.
In /etc/rc.conf, the GDM/Slim are the last to be started up.
Installed the nouveau drivers for the card.
No HAL, of course, as it's deprecated, dbus is in there though

Need more details? Okay, please reply, I'll furnish what I can get my hands on to...

Greetzzz

Thor
Solved - I guess you should'nt believe everything you read. In the installs, nouveau-dri is proposed for 3D-accelleration. Dont do it.
And, by the way, make sure .xinitrc is executable...
