Need help setting up dialup connection
 

Hello,

I am new to arch linux and trying to install it but stuck because I am not able to set up a dialup connection. I tried the formula on the arch linux wiki without success. I am just wondering if anyone here succeeded setting up a dial up connection before? If yes, could he describe the steps that I could follow. Any help is appreciated. My modem is a bulletproof robotics and I've never had any problem ever connecting to the Internet with this modem. The biggest problem, I've found is that there is no configuration tools installed with the core (like pppconfig, or wvdial and the likes). So I dont know how to proceed with the installation. I've also googled but found no useful information on the internet regarding to this issue.

In the mean time, I downloaded wvdial from the repository, installed it and now I am connected.
