Library trouble?

hi,
I've been having quite a few problems with my installation so far, but the main one I think is that make never seems to work -so you can see how it becomes hard to win other battles- I think im missing certain libraries that are required for it to make. Im a noob so i dont know very much so heres an example:-

make -C nvnet

/lib/modules/2.6.7/build/ is a symlink to your kernel source...The program is looking for kernel headers as best as I can tell.

Do you have /usr/src/linux-2.6.7/ ??? If not you may need to unpack the kernel source so nvnet can find the kernel headers.

HTH

get the vanilla source and extract it. [if you find the headers it's the same]
