For an easy install of arch linux get www.amlug.net.
It will install a preview of 0.7 of archlinux. Albeit very easy. The nicest thing is udev. It is up to date and has greater support than devfs.
Again it is a easy install. Pacman man is awsome. I did the ctrl-c in many places to see if I could crash it, not. Very stable.
If you want to use fluxbox, they are having some odd problem. I did a CVS of it and compiled it my self with no problems.
I have cups, sound, lm_sensors, gkrellm, etc. Running. I only took about 2.5 hours of tweaking. I still like debian(knoppix). But, arch is i686 out of the box. Very fast and tight distro.....
