Error messages during boot
Hi,
I'm running Arch Noodle on my IBM R51 laptop now :) But I got some error messages that fly by during boot up. Quote:

For the ipw2200 error (your wireless is not working I bet):
http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/#issues I guess you have put the firmware(s) in the appropriate directory? RNG: maybe you have no Random Number Generator and then you need to remove this from your kernel. It won't cause anyharm anyway |

I forgot about the wireless...because i'm using regular lan via RJ45 to connect to the net. I will just disable it in the BIOS :) You think I should do a reinstall with wireless turned off in my BIOS? Thanks for your help with this :) |

If yes, then disable it in the BIOS. You could also, during the kernel configuration, remove the support for ipw2200, you will have one line less in your logs (that's optimization lol) and remove the RNG (one less line!) |
