can I change the default penguin logo, while compiling a new kernel?

In arch linux, if the framebuffer is set on, while booting, one will see arch's logo. It's pleasing.

The question is: How can I change the default penguin logo to that of arch's logo, if I am going to compile a new kernel?

this is no arch specific. trying searching LQ in general or via a search engine

if you compile your new kernel with ABS, then you will see that there is a patch, which allows you to replace the penguin logo with the Arch one.

go to /var/abs/kernels/kernel26 and you will find everything you need there. ;)

oh yes I didn't think of the patch being in abs :)
well done TheShemata.

dyte100, if you want other ArchLinux logos, there are some in archlinux.org
