Arch and wireless tools

Hi,just want to make a question:

Does thev Arch "full" ISO have already the wireless tools included, including ndiswrapper and wpa_supplicant? Bcoz i'm thinking of trying to install it and i have a wireless usb card and I would have to transport all the PC to the place where the router is...

Regards,

Tha1

You can also use pacman to get what you need.

pacman -Ss wpa_supplicant ndiswrapper

Another method (perhaps more failsafe) is to look up all the stuff you need for your usb wifi-adapter (either Arch packages or sources). Then download all the programs/drivers you need, put them on a cd-r/usb-stick/floppy/whatever and copy them to your system, and then setup wireless networking. This is yet another procedure, and it worked for me ;-)
Hope that helps.

That method seems safer to me.Also, it worked when I installed Mepis for the first time, so i'm gonna give a try with Arch and then i'll see... Thanks y'all!!

There are instructions in the Arch wiki for setting up wireless if you have any problems as well.
