Question yp_all - TCP channel create failure: RPC: 1832-019 Program not registered

Hi All

We have an NIS server which has the user accounts on a partition and are NFS shared to other AIX servers and workstations which authenticates login.

Recently, we have been facing issues when trying to switch user accounts in AIX server/workstations with an error message

"yp_all - TCP channel create failure: RPC: 1832-019 Program not registered."

Also, some servers/workstations does not recognise user accounts though NIS filesystem which has user accounts are NFS shared. For this issue, I have restarted NIS and NFS services in both server and client but no luck!. Please let me know what are the possible causes for this issue and how can be it be fixed. Let me know for anymore details on this regard.Google search does not help and this community too.

Thanks in advance.

- Vathsan.
