transfer aix man pages to linux

hello,

I guess it is no new thing that many linux commands have different features as compared to AIX ones. I wonder if there is a way how to transfer all man pages in AIX so I can read them on a linux machine and see the differences.

So far I have not been very successfull with locating all the AIX man pages (/usr/share/man is rather incomplete - e. g. I could not see the man of date command).

well actually, I am at the point of not knowing what (where in AIX the man pages are located) exactly should I copy where. there is no progress so far.

hello all,

I suggest that you use the whereis and which command with diffrent commands to locate the documentation.

$whereis ls who
$which ls who

and also you can try to know what is the value of this variable
MANPATH

$echo $MANPATH
