I do not understand it, how did you copy that file? What kind of os do you have? Does that mean the same script works on the same host from another dir?
we are using AIX..before installing, I backup the old one. The new one has also a install.sh file. But the new one is not working. I tried to run the install.sh in my backup(old one), oit works. So I copy the old install.sh to the directory of the new application directory using "cp" command..but it gives an error ./install.sh[77]: 0403-057 Syntax error at line 77 : `if' is not matched when I run it.
Problem solved I request another file and make sure to transfer it in binary resolving the issue of ^M. Indicating that the file was save in windows or the file was not transferred in binary. Thank you guys for your help
