In VIO, how to reopen an virtual Terminal (not rmvt, mkvt) ?

In the Virtual IO-Server, you can create or delete a virtual Terminal, but how reopen an already running terminal ?
(rmvt + mkvt will kill the runnig process)

If you did a ~. to escape, you have killed the process.

If you use the gui interface (websm) via an HMC the sessions dont die. However, when you use a vio partition (no hmc), or the command-line interface (via an HMC) my experience is that the console sends a hangup signal to processes running on console.
