getting "bool" error while building with AIX4.3 anc vacpp5.0


Hi,

I am getting following error while building my component with AIX4.3 and with vacpp5.0.

I am nagging this problem since long.......could anyone have work around.
I set PATH and env variable correclty. It seems problem with some linking or compiling.


"/Components/dev/DOM/xerces-c_1_3_0/include/util/XercesDefs.hpp", line 316.21: 1540-0063 (S) The text "bool" is unexpected.
gmake[1]: *** [debug/AIX.4.3_RISC_vacpp50/BinaryAggregableObject.o] Error 1

Sounds to me more like a problem with the source file and not the compiler or OS.

Thanks for ur interest shown. But I not releated to source file problem.

The same source files are working in another similar AIX/vacpp compiler configuration.

Have you tried using the gcc compiler as an alternative? Sometimes I find that things work on one and not the other.
