Configration Management for AIX
 

Hi,

I'm looking for a configuration management solution for aix. Something like puppet for linux would be great (the aix port of puppet isn't really useful or supportet at the moment). I had a look at AIX Runtime Export (artex filesets) but i'm not really sure if it's to right tool or the correct purpose for this tool (for example I don't know if it's possible to create some system users with artex)...

Any ideas on how to manage aix configurations at a central point?

Have a look at cfengine, they seem to support AIX pretty well. I haven't used it myself.
