AIX nfs server for Linux clients

I have an AIX nfs server. I tried to use it as nfs network installer in order to install Linux Mandrake 10 on my pc's. I booted on the first floppy, which asked for the second one, and then asked for the name of the nfs server, and then the install started and failed with "runinstall2 exec format error".
what is the error ? Does that mean that AIX cannont act as nfs server for Linux install ? Or is it a special way to prepare the install server ? I just copied the first four CD's to the exported filesystem using "cpio -p"
