I'd been wanting to try it, but it's my understanding that it's authored for Chromium only at this point in time, and I'm a Firefox user.

I'm not running it (yet), I can't even download it from its homepage, that's why I wrote "The download button is not activated?!?"...

@JZL240I-U

Yep, like with gor0 above, uBlock downloads are working fine from Mozilla's Add-ons page, and from GitHub's project page for me. Not sure why they aren't working for you, but it sounds like something on your end is blocking the request somehow.

Funny enough, the Firefox Addons don't even list uBlock I must check with my netbook on monday, where I got it installed, wonder how I did that...

And as I wrote, gor0's link is not active.

Strange stuff for sure... I just checked the GitHub link and the Mozilla Add-ons link, and both are still working fine here, and they work repeatedly with each attempt. If your machine isn't blocking them for some reason, maybe your country or your ISP blocks them for reasons of their own.

Either way, I hope you are able to get it all working soon.

Yeah, got it. There are some links on the github page (and subsequent pages) which lead to a working link. Thanks for testing on your side .

Just wanted to back up gotfw a bit here and also advise anyone who is using AdblockPlus to switch over to AdblockEdge. We shouldn't support mobster like business tactics.

"Give us money and you'll get on the protection list!"

Not very ethical, in my opinion.

uMatrix rocks, btw.

And whilst on the subject, stay away from uBlock. Do embrace uBlock Origin. Former are some posers trying to monetize uBlock.
