I wish I could vote for two. I use Yakuake when I just want quick access to the terminal, and I use Terminator when I really want to get something done. I like Yakuake normally if I am going to run something in the background. I might have to try some of these however, never heard of some of these

I big plus of xterm, is that it ports to HP-UX and AIX without problems unlike some other emulators that would be perfect if they didn't have that many (linux) dependencies
