I still prefer Abyss X1. Simple, powerful, and the GUI just works.

Mongrel2 is very interesting. Modular design and a unique approach. Voted for Nginx though.

Voted Apache because that's the only one I've used but I'm interested as to other people's preferences and their reasons.

I like one not listed here: Hiawatha. Its features include a small footprint suitable for embedded systems or small VPSs, a bunch of security features including flood detection, SQL injection detection and CSRF prevention, and a mini reverse proxy for dynamic pages.

I voted for Apache, but that's only because my hosting providers uses it. If I could afford to self-host my site, it would likely be something else.

I used to use that product. It was cool. I even bought a copy of X2 at one point a few years back. That company has really neglected updates and even communication with their customers imo however.

I voted nginx. Currently playing with it on a tiny VPS with 128MB RAM. Works great so far.

They have updated, and their forum is still active ... considering they are in Tunisia, which is politically exciting these days, they are doing fairly well.

How is the nginx GUI?

Love nginx, has low resource usage, is easy to configure and flexible.

Lighttpd, although Cherokee is looking great, but I still couldn't test it.
