I'm not voting in this category unless LSkat makes the ballot. It's a card game for KDE with plenty of strategy along with chance.

The sad thing about that game is that to install it, you have to drag in KDE as well. So, it is a distro specific game, not just a linux game.

SuperTuxKart 8 is awesome because it is alot like Mario Kart, but open source. (Which is a good thing, because I don't own Mario Kart!)

FlightGear is a great project. I wouldn't call it a game, but anyway, my vote goes for them.

Loved Pingus. Sad that no new levels since 2011.

Cool

Can't remember what I voted here (probably GNU Chess) but over the years Xmoto is always my favorite.

Pingus!

After you have solved every playable level the real challenge begins - going for absolute minimum time on the really tough ones! Surprises proliferate!

And while not on the list or free (aka open source), I still indulge my Lemmings CD on Dosbox.

You kids today don't know what fun is...

I like Pingus and Lemmings (still too although don't get around to using my floppies much these days,) not that I play much.

Yea, I suffer the same condition, not really much of a gamer. It just happens that I played Lemmings last night while waiting for ffmpeg to compile then saw this thread today. Glad there is another Pingus/Lemmings player out there though!
