Subversion at work and at home

Subversion

I've gotten my wife using svn to manage our photos. I found it so hard to manage all of the files until I just gave up and put them in SVN. It's huge but easy and we now have geographically separated backup copies the Linux server, and two laptops OSX and Windows! I'm thinking about adding my mother-in-law in the mix too.

Darcs for my personal projects and Bzr at work (though I plan to migrate to darcs).

Mercurial if I'm allowed to choose.

No RCS? :)

Git. Still got some stuff in SVN, but that will probably get moved to git eventually.

Distributed is the way to go for most things, and git seems to have pulled ahead. All others are number 2 or lower. :)

Subversion. I set a goal for myself to have at least had a competent level of understanding of a VCS by the end of this month and Subversion was it. And I really like it.
