I'm stuck between Wesnoth and Oolite... Since Oolite isn't in the poll, I pick Wesnoth.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Goes Open Source
Written by badman on 13 August, 2010 - 10:18 | TaggedWolfenstein: Enemy Territory
During his annual QuakeCon keynote speech last night, John Carmack mentioned that the full Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory source code is now available under the GNU General Public License. This is great news for aspiring modders looking to use the game's innards as a basis for their own project, as well as community-driven improvements for Wolf: ET itself. An official, potentially press release-laden announcement is apparently still to come, but in the meantime, you can grap the source from one of the mirrors below

They have open sourced the game engine, not the content of the game, so the game itself is not open source, the graphics, sounds, and whatnot are still copyrighted. You can download the game for free and use it, but you are not allowed to make use of the content of the game for other purposes, like a real open source game would allow.

Skype is in the "Messaging App of the Year" category, where this is no requirement to be Open Source. This is "Open Source Game of the Year".

Exclamation Game of the year is Xonotic

I think it should be added , it does have impressive graphics (new hight res textures) and open source community type of management
