sycamorex 01-13-2011 11:06 AM

Discovered irssi a few months back. Better late than never.

Kopete. QT, but nice.

1- The awesome Twinkle is not listed. Maybe because there were no update in 2010 ?
2- Sorry, aMsn, but you do only msn... and you do it pretty well.
3- Hey !!! Is Skype open source ?!!?

jeremy 01-13-2011 12:10 PM

1) There hasn't been a Twinkle release in almost two years, so we have no plan to add it this year.
3) There is no requirement to be Open Source for this particular category.

I used to use Pidgin but tried Kopete and it stuck. :)

I use Skype also but my vote was for Kopete

Pidgin. The plugins are excellent and make it decent for IRC too

jeremy 01-14-2011 10:19 AM

Finch has been added.

jeremy 01-14-2011 10:50 AM

From what I see, qutIM did not have a single release in 2010.

For me nothing beats Pidgin so far.
