Ranger should be on this list.
Its a fantastic ncurses FM written in python. Have tried just about all of them, and finally found one that works.

This year I voted PCmanFM, it functions like Nautilus but is so much faster.

+1. I mostly use Nautilus but I'm voting PCmanFM this year because I like to give smaller, well coded apps their due.

Yes, PCmanFM is really nice. They are doing a very good job with it, it's like a super lightweigh Nautilus (which I've always previously voted). I use it reguarly on Lubuntu and my old PC's.
