Desktop Environment of the Year

If you're looking for Fluxbox, Window Maker, Enlightenment or similar options - they are in the Window Manager of the Year poll.

A little late on next version, but no problem, the current do the job perfectly.

XFCE!!! Has the features of GNOME and KDE that I need minus the bloat.

XFCE, hands down. Does everything that GNOME can, minus the bloat and the crummy window manager.

Tried KDE and GNOME but I always came back with XFCE...

I have always used Gnome as the primary one.
Now given a second option I would prefer Lxde any day over KDE bloat

Interesting one for me.....I have toyed with everything but Gnome still has my vote.

I don't know why but Gnome has had my vote ever since I began using Linux tried KDE and lxde didn't care much for either.
