So many good ones to choose from. I do like my new mythdora(mythtv) set up. But I was REALLY excited when I used ffmpeg to convert a movie to put on my iPhone.
So I'll have to go with ffmpeg since I already had a cable DVR and the mythdora was just something to play around with.
What is your definition of multimedia because I do not think we are on the same page.
My definition of multimedia is a program that loads up video, sound, and images. The following programs that suit the word multimedia according to my difinition.
MythTV
Freevo
Elisa
GStreamer
Others just do not fall in my definition. Programs that fall in CD/DVD writing front end software is the following programs.
K3b
Gnomebaker
The following program that fall in video or sound encoding programs.
acidrip
DVD::RIP
DeVeDe
FFmpeg
The following programs that fall in photo management.
F-Spot
digiKam
The program named gtkpod is just does not fit. It is just a minimal alternative of iTunes.
I just can not vote because this one has no logic behind it.
