Can sauerbraten be added? I play it a lot on my Ubuntu hardy and I like it a lot.

arckane 01-08-2009 03:38 AM

woah, where's ioUrbanTerror? The best opensource FPS out there :)

wificraig 01-08-2009 04:22 AM

PokerTH

Texas Hold-em Poker is awesome!

jeremy 01-08-2009 08:43 AM

PokerTH has been added. Neither ioUrbanTerror or sauerbraten seem to be Open Source.

I voted for Padman because it is so well-made, it needs more attention.

How about Open Arena?

It's one of the best FPS games I've played.

Where is WarSow and Warzone 2100?

Among the given ones, I choose Nexuiz.

Sauerbraten could have been among the best games here. I like a lot of these games but I still voted for SuperTux. I like that cute character and its simple and plain and takes not much of your resources.

And those closed source games fits the Open Source Game of the Year category because??? I am sure there is some logic to in your thinking, but I don't get your point....

Anyway, I am confused about Sauerbraten. On wikipedia, it stands as open source. On their page, no mention of open source. Not that I like the game though, but I wanted to know for sure if it is open source or not :)

My vote goes for Wesnoth: Great gameplay, well made sprites, interesting single player campaign(s), amazing sound track. Got 2 friends addicted to it this year on that game :)

I have personally been very impressed with the progress made by UFO: Alien Invasion.
