I like fluxbox

Easily configurable through a text config file
Has all the basic functions needed to run a machine
Quick launching with a small footprint
Can be left sparse or made to display icons
Comes with some canned themes that make it functional or make your own
Doesn't comes with tons of bloat apps that you may never use or don't want

I voted for xfwm4 because mostly i use Xfce and I've never found a reason to change the window manager. I've also used Gnome with xfwm4 as the window manager and everything got a lot faster than with metacity. I'll use anything that's reasonably light and lets me shade a window with a mouse wheel scroll over as my gf doesn't like clicking noises when she's trying to sleep :-)

I am using FVWM. I have not find a window manager so flexible and powerful. For example:

* I can customise each desktop (i.e., each desktop has its own applications menu). This is one of the reasons, appart of its low resources consumption, I moved to FVWM.
* I can have multiple desktops, each with multiple pages. (One desktop is bigger than one screen)
...

In the xvinman voting chart, fvwm has a decent position (http://xwinman.org/vote.php).

I would like my vote to count for FVWM.

I've been using larswm for over a year and I'm happy, though I'm starting to miss having small cute icons in the desktop... I guess that's how someone can get tired of minimalistic-tiling wm. Cheers

I like IceWM. On lower-end systems, it runs great for me. Fluxbox is okay, but I'm more familiar with IceWm.
