Wormux is good, but it's not out of beta, so there is no single-player mode yet unless you want to play both sides yourself. I'd still vote for it if it was on the list, though.

I think nexuiz may not be completely open source.

Planeshift is a game I've been watching for the past couple of years now. I don't know if it can be included or not for a couple of reasons. Although Planeshift's source code is under the GPL, all graphics and sounds and such are proprietary (though free as in beer) and the game is only alpha quality. I'm just throwing it out as a suggestion, but it might be debatable because of these reasons.

I personally don't play the game but my kids are all over it. What I like the most is that G**t*r H*r* songs (being .ogg files) work in it, and the mods happening for this thing show how one can be current and stay true to open source (well, as close as one can get in this case anyway)

Hi, I do not know what these games mentioned are about. Are they sims, rpgs, strategy, action, multi-player or what???
I'm asking because most games I've run across lately are boring..same old, same old. I'm wondering what other people are interested in playing.
I would like to write a game where others could add modules to it and be compatible, genre etc. However, not knowing what people are looking for in the way of game entertainment, it makes it a little tenuous at best.

As an aside: I'm surprised there were no votes on Jeremy's "What programming language do you prefer"?
Is it that people don't program, except for commercial resale?

Armagetron Advanced? This tron remake is one of most addicting games ever IMHO.
