I use Slax 0.6 pre-release with Clam, Klam and updated database package I made myself.

Ever since I scan my customer's PCs offline and hit more positives than with pro tools.
the caveat is I have to erase manually...

With the trends or infection rates and frequencies, i believe that Clam project deserves more public exposure and support up until the point the all known malware-receptive OS becomes insignificant part of the market.

My vote goes to Clam this year.
Anti viral companies, I f You red this - make more free editions (trade feed back for support) - or perish.

My vote is for Firestarter, because it works and is really user friendly.

I voted for Firestarter because it's easy and makes sharing the internet connection a matter of a few clicks instead of manually setting up masquerading. Adding other iptables rules and viewing logs and status is also very easy using Firestarter. I think it's a good gui, as it requires no knowledge of iptables to work so anyone who ever used a personal firewall on the darkside can quickly understand it and have iptables configured adequately for a home desktop or laptop in a few minutes. It also doesn't stop you setting iptables rules manually as well if you prefer.
