It is a pretty solid browser. Sure, Firefox has far cooler plugins and all that, but it feels kinda... bloated... |
I would largely have to agree with what Mega Man X and JLP have said except that I feel that there is a strong need for a web browser to have plugins...
At least using Firefox means that I'm not using IE (version 7 is a plain rip off but has an evan more disgusting interface *vomits for several minutes*). |
Konqueror, because it's fast, integrated with the best desktop ever, and views almost anything.

Swiftweasel/Swiftfox? I know they're Mozilla based, but the improvements are notable. Put 'em on for next year (for now I'll vote Firefox).

Konqueror is incredibly good. Its got tons of tiny features that make my browsing experience just that little bit better than any other browser I've tried. e.g. this is more of a kde than konqueror feature, but you can switch through tabs just by scrolling the mouse wheel in the tab line. Much better than clickety-clicking on each tab. (this also works for switching through windows by scrolling the wheel over the bottom panel)

Gotta say Opera here for now, as Firefox 2 runs horribly on my BSD machines, and not all that spectacularly well on GNU/Linux. However, from the betas of Firefox 3, I'd say things are looking up for Mozilla in the future. My only wish for Opera is that it treated the site preferences to be geared towards URLs of individual files rather than the base site (e.g. allowing JavaScript for slashdot.org lets the JavaScript sourced by Slashdot from google.com come through as well). Of course, Firefox also has awesome add-ons like NoScript, Firebug, AdBlock Plus, and Vimperator. So if any Firefox developers are reading, keep up the good work on version three, and try to get better BSD support!

Iceweasel aka firefox

Firefox and Konqueror are tight race this year.
Didn't need a photo finish when i realised that there still are pages where I must open Firefox to see them tight. However there are far less pages where I must switch from Firefox (gecko) to Konqueror (khtml). This year will turn the tide for this as I expect the intel/mac to get more share on the market and turn the tide towards khtml Still 2k7 (as mi vote too) belongs to Firefox and my heart to konqueror. |
I voted Firefox as that is what I use.
My Favurites: 1. Firefox 2. Seamonkey (I wish they would update it more) 3. Epiphany (This browser really impressed me!) 4. Konquerer (A bit bloated because of its two alter egos) 5. Opera (I do not like its GUI and it runs the slowest on my computer, and it is closed source). I naturally hate Internet Explorer. I have not used Safari and do not intend to ever try it. I like Lynx. Me an my brother are writing our own browser that is to be powered with the KHtml (Konquerer) engine (As that is the only one compatible with Gambas). |
I go for Konqueror this year :)

no Opera,no Internet
|
If Seamonkey still had the calender or if Lightning actually worked with Seamonkey (promises, promises), I would vote for it, but is doesn't so my vote goes to Opera.

Firefox 2.0.0.11 for me:-)
