I've tried just about every distro over the last two or three years, but the best for me is Sabayon Linux. How come it doesn't get into the list - I can't be the only one to use it!?
PCLinuxOS is my distro of choice. I've tried several, Fedora, Ubuntu, Suse, Mandriva, Freespire, Mepis and others, but PCLOS has consistently worked better than them all for me.
Hmm, in my opinion there should be an "Other distro" option available, as there are so many other distributions used across the world.
My vote goes to Mandriva.
I am surprised noone has picked arch. this has ended my distro shuffle. everybit as fast as gentoo and everybit as customizable as slackware(with a real package manager). the knock on this was that it was hard to configure but i am by no means a guru and this is working for me.
