Still KDE. I love the feel and looks and I love all the options it gives me for customization. I also like the kio_slaves a lot. Educational applications like Kalzium (chemistry) and KStars (astronomy) that come with it are also awesome.

Xfce. I've been using Xfce 4.4 since the RC's came out, currently using RC2. Very nice.

My vote goes to xfce. And since I upgraded to xfce 4.4rc2 its been a breeze. It looks cool is light weight and w/ 4.4 its damn good. I LOVE XFCE!

I was unaware that 380 MB, pentium 3, and an old graphics/sound card counts as good hardware. Runs KDE like a charm!

I moved from Kde to Xfce for several reasons. The decider was that, when I moved to 3.5.4 from 3.4.2, font sizes were rendered incorrectly.

Having made the move, I wish I had done it a lot sooner. I still use some Kde applications. They work better on Xfce than on Kde.

The customizations in KDE has no compare!!!

KDE, for sure.

Customizations galore, most appealing to me, fun to explore kde-apps and try out new things, not to mention that kio_slaves absolutely rock!

XFCE run in Xubuntu beat Ubuntu (Gnome), and Kubuntu (KDE) hands down on my 1.2 Gig Duron machine. It boots much faster and opens apps instantly. It's stable and fast. I don't know why I didn't make the switch to XFCE sooner.

When I first saw KDE, i felt in love I also have never used any other graphical environment, so my vote goes to KDE.

KDE is a bit slower on the computers that I am using than Gnome.

XFCE is a nice mix between KDE and Gnome, but I take KDE out of sheer functionality.

None!
There should be a choice for none.

I use IceWM window manager, and I run both KDE and Gnome apps, but I don't need any "desktop environment" more more than the WM provides.

The menu has everything on it, so what do I need with icons?
