AmaroK is my choice. Firstly it looked kinda clumsy to me. I've always used Winamp, and amaroK didn't impress me at the begining. But now I like this player much.
I guess Beep Media Player means BMPx... if not, BMPx should be in it's place, because it is the best media player I've used. Sure it has it's drawbacks, mainly the huge GUI and the fact that it is kinda in "alpha" stage. But it's Musicbrainz and LastFM integration compensates it all.
Yay, cmus made it in. You have to love a terminal based music player which does everything the big-boys do as well. It's like a text mode version of iTunes or something. And it uses vi-style commands.
I can start it up in a screen session, and even if I kill X, my music never stops playing. I can ssh into the computer from another computer across the house and change the song, volume, whatever.
