SeaMonkey was only released today, in 2006. It can't really be a members choice of 2005 given that it didn't even exist in 2005!
Hmm, funny, I seem to remember installing it on my brother's Windows machine in November. If it was out for Windows then, prcompiled with an installer and everything, I'm pretty sure Linux builds were available in 2005. So it was "Beta." BFD. That and nearly any other Linux app out there. I ran OOo 1.9 (aka 2.0 beta) for what, nearly ten months? And yet, in reality OOo 2.0 was a far more "real" product then than Windows Vista is today.

I generally use FireFox for sites that don't require cookies and Mozilla for sites that do. I have also tried Konquerer on cygwin, but find it slow, probably because of the emulation.
