This one is always fun ;)

Of course vi here.
Maybe nano or pico.
But for gui I would go with nedit

I realize, theres only about 1000 text editors... I guess it'd be unrealistic to
list all of them, or even the 100 most popular... I'm not complaining. :)

Chex 01-29-2006 05:56 PM

Kate and I are gonna get married! :D

Raftysworld 01-29-2006 08:25 PM

Kate definitely for GUI, Nano for console

adssse 01-29-2006 09:02 PM

I gotta go with vi/vim, its always there for me.

frob23 01-29-2006 09:07 PM

I had to vote for vi as well. Although, I've been playing with Acme in Plan9 and that's pretty cool as well.

vharishankar 01-29-2006 09:14 PM

The vote goes to Kate. I also like the way you can easily switch between files with Kate.

Alien_Hominid 01-30-2006 12:36 AM

Pico for console (it's easier for me to do smth than with vi) and gedit for gui.

Ruben2 01-30-2006 03:38 AM

I use nano on console and Mousepad for GUI.

nx5000 01-30-2006 03:47 AM
