A quick visit to the KShowmail website reveals RPM's available for White Box, Red Hat and Suse as well as source rpm,s and tar.gz files. It should compile on any system that has the KDE libraries installed.
If the moderators are not prepared to take action on a certain person who is using this forum only to bait for a flame war by deliberately posting lies and misinformation, then perhaps a shiny lock is appropriate.

And marcusesq, why not post your other preferences in the polls saying why you for example prefer x filemanager to Y so people can learn something.

Point taken that this is a poll thread. My reasons for posting were explained in post #98. It was happening in this thread as well (still is #145, #147)and nothing was being done. If you want people to learn something from your site, standards need to apply to all threads.
I can't speak on behalf of others, but in my case, the points were taken, just stretching the discussion on the subject on the same thread seems a bit too far (IHMO), that's why it'd be best to keep these kind of discussions in a different thread, away from the thread (the poll), but still making refernce to the thread it generated from.

Let's keep this on topic please. We have never had to close an MCA poll's thread and I'd like to keep it that way. No need to bash any product. Simply vote and optionally explain why you did. Thanks.
There's a "NoWindowsInMyHome" in every KDE vs Gnome thread, we just need to ignore and move on.
The new Gnome 2.14 is looking pretty nice but is still no where near KDE in my opinion. New amarok, kopete, and koffice betas are out making the KDE experience even better!
